Clinical Specialist: Speech-Language Pathologist
Passy-Muir is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work remotely or in the office as a full-time Clinical Specialist. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Teaching Remote Live In-Service (RLI) Webinars to educate healthcare providers on the safe and efficacious use of Passy-Muir Valves
- Providing technical and clinical support to clinicians, physicians, and patients
- Occasionally providing onsite education at seminars, state and national conventions, universities, and healthcare facilities
- Creating Passy-Muir Valve educational presentations
- Assisting with the review of clinical, educational, and marketing materials
- Reviewing and composing clinical journal articles
- Providing technical support for medical facilities and healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy, including conducting PowerPoint based webinars via Zoom, Teams, etc.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Exemplary professional conduct
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work remotely during working hours without interruption
- Ability to work within a team and support project completion
Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a clinical setting, working with patients with tracheostomy and ventilator dependence
- Hands-on experience with the Passy-Muir Valve, including ventilator application
- Speaking or teaching experience
- Experience with development of presentations
- West coast residency preferable
Certifications/Licenses:
- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC-SLP)
